Meet Dr. Bodden


Dr. Kimberly Bodden

Dr. Kimberly Easley Bodden is a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. She is a graduate of Oak Forest Academy in Amite, LA and studied Biochemistry at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. Dr. Bodden received multiple awards and scholarships while in dental school, including the Baldridge Scholarship and the JoEllen Smith Memorial Scholarship. She was inducted as member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and she is a member of the C. Edmund Kells Dental Honor Society. Upon graduation, Dr. Bodden received the prestigious Dean’s Award from the LSU School of Dentistry. She practiced general dentistry for three years, and then returned for a 2-year orthodontic residency program at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. While in residency, she received the J. Jerome Hebert Award. Her heart is in orthodontics, and she truly enjoys transforming smiles.

Dr. Bodden’s professional affiliations include: the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Louisiana Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Northlake Dental Association. She had the honor of serving as the 2012 president of the Northlake Dental Association.

Dr. Bodden and her husband, Shawn, are the proud parents of two children, Jillian and Eli. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, gardening and watching football (especially LSU and the Saints).
